The Stables
Over the years The Stables has evolved from humble beginnings as a pig sty and barn into car ports, then was used as a restaurant for a while. We have recently completed a refurbishment, modernising the facilities and opening up the venue to hold approx 90 people whilst retaining the charm and character of the 300 year old original building and showcasing its beamed vaulted ceiling.
Our licensed bar makes The Stables an ideal venue for private functions such as birthday parties, anniversaries, music events and Christmas festivities - even Father Christmas himself has been known to use it as the setting for his grotto. It has also proved very popular with local Over 60’s clubs for parties.
The Stables is also available for corporate hire and is regularly used for staff training events and seminars for up to 18 people (please see our Business Meetings page for more details).
