The Rose and Crown Ridgmont.
Well presented, traditional and home cooked food at reasonable prices. This has been my intention since opening the kitchen of the Rose & Crown in September 2007. I like to think that my staff and I offer good service, good food and a good experience to all who frequent the pub.
The 'no frills' menu has dishes of traditional origins that are accompanied by a variety of fresh vegetables all bought from local sources.
We are able to accommodate most dietary needs.
The menu ranges from home-made soup through to a full mixed grille. The prices range from £2.95 through to £15.95, with a children's box for £3.00. We can provide half portions for half the price for people with a smaller appetite or children.
Lunch time:
The Doorstep sandwiches are made with fresh bread from the local baker and are accompanied by a fresh, crunchy salad garnish and tortilla chips. A substantial meal in itself!!
Jacket potatoes are popular this time of year and come with fillings varying from plain grated cheese to ham and peppers in a creamy cheese sauce. Again, accompanied by a fresh, crunchy salad garnish.
The evening menu is aailable at lunch time too so the choice is quite comprehensible.

Monday to Saturday 12.00 – 2.30pm and 6.00 – 9.00pm
Sunday – Traditional Roasts 12.00 – 3.00pm
